Plant habit: Annual
Sow: early spring and autumn Sow seed 5 mm deep in well draining fertile soil.
Germinates in 6-10 days at 15-20 C.
Grow: In full sun. Matures in approx 60 days.
Pollination: Crosses with will not cross with other Brassica varieties.
Seed Saving: Cut off the large flowering heads as they turn brown and put into paper bag. When completely dry thresh and winnow.
Uses: Adds mustardy hot flavour to salads. Cooking removes hot taste.
